چکیده
BACKGROUND: Hamstring tightness is common among football players, which frequently results in hamstring injuries. Although the exact cause of unknown, decreased extensibility may play a role. Stretching techniques various types have been used to improve muscle flexibility rehabilitation and sports. Passive stretching one most commonly methods, recent addition other such as ballistic stretching, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) with variants effective. The current study aimed compare effects Active releasing technique Mulligan bent leg raise footballers tightness. AIM AND OBJECTIVE: To determine effectiveness reducing players. METHOD: STUDY DESIGN: Experimental study. SAMPLING TECHNIQUE: Convenient Sampling technique. SAMPLE SIZE: 20 FOOTBALL PLAYERS. RESULT: values were statistically analysed using paired ‘t-test Unpaired ‘t-test. statistical analysis made quantitative data revealed significant difference between Group A B also within group. post-test mean value sit reach test group was 29.40 28.50. This showed that treatment given for comparatively more effective than B. CONCLUSION:This shows there an improvement release well However, better compared range motion footballers. KEYWORDS: tightness, technique, raise, Footballers.

The aim of the study was to analyse the effect of mulligan bent leg raise technique on hamstring trigger point. 40 subjects who were diagnosed by hamstring trigger point randomly recruited in the study All subjects received Mulligan bent leg raise technique (BLR), To determine the effect of intervention the patient were assessed on the measures of Active knee extension test (AKE) and visual ana...
متن کاملMulligan bent leg raise technique--a preliminary randomized trial of immediate effects after a single intervention.
The aim of this study was to investigate the effects over 24h, on range of motion and pain, of a single intervention of Mulligan's bent leg raise (BLR) technique in subjects with limited straight leg raise (SLR) and low back pain (LBP). Mulligan techniques are frequently used in practice but their effectiveness has not been adequately researched. Ninety-four subjects were contacted by telephone...
متن کاملHamstring muscle tightness. Reliability of an active-knee-extension test.
The purpose of this study was to examine intratester reliability of a test designed to measure tightness in the hamstring muscles. The test measures the angle of knee flexion with a pendulum goniometer after active knee extension with the hip stabilized at 90 degrees flexion. The angle of knee flexion represents hamstring tightness. After an instruction session for the subjects, the hamstring m...
